In October 1880, she moved to Sargent with her parents.
She was married to Albert Dye, and they moved to Iowa where they made their home until Mr. Dye's death. She returned to Sargent.
In August 1913 she married W. T. Hartley of Sargent and continued to live there until her death.
She was a member of the Methodist Church of Sargent.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her aged husband; three sisters and two brothers:

Funeral services were held at the Hartley home on Tuesday afternoon, June 7 with Rev. Ernest Chambers of the Free Methodist Church officiating. Mrs. W. R Kidder was the vocalist. Interment was at Nashua, Iowa.
