In the 1856 State of Iowa Census for Tama County, it gives Wm L. Brannen 35y, Carpenter bp IN, Leondis Brannen, 8y bp IN and Eliza Umbarger bp IN with all marked as living in Iowa 5y. Eliza was a sister to Minerva.
