Betty Lou Stratton, age 89, passed from this life Sunday, March 22,2020 in Claremore, Oklahoma.
Betty was born July 7, 1930 in Douthat, Oklahoma to parents Lewis and Virginia (Pace) Baker.
She loved to do needlepoint, crochet and cross stitch, winning lots of ribbons at the Ottawa County Fair. She also crocheted baby hats and gloves for the newborn babies at the hospital.
Betty was also a very good cook and made many Thanksgiving meals for several families. She enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Miami.
Betty is survived by her sons: Michael Stratton and wife Helen, Danny Stratton and wife Phyllis; grandchildren: Chris Stratton and wife Robin, David Stratton and wife Cassie, Drew Stratton and wife Nicole, Dane Stratton and wife Heather; great granddaughters: Rylee Stratton, Scarlett Stratton, Olivia Stratton, Cheyanne Stratton; sister: Darlene Higginbotham and husband Dallis.
She is preceded in death by husband, Dudley Stratton and her parents.
The service honoring and remembering Betty will be held in Miami, Oklahoma at a later date.
