Carl was born on July 9, 1948, in Paris, Texas to James and Lenora (Ainsworth) Jones. He was a farmer for most of his life. He loved baseball and playing dominos.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, James Earl jones and James C Jones; sisters, Carolyn and Betty Jones.
Surviving is his daughter, Carol Nelms of Borger; brothers, Leroy Jones of Amarillo and John Jones of Borger; sisters Merlean Embers, Erma Smith, and Novella Jones all of Borger; grandchildren, Natalie Tillman, Mia Dickson, Mya Dickson, and Monta Dickson; great grandchildren, Aviawna, Azariah, Autyanna, Aric, Dominic and Nova.
