SOLOMON CARPENTER
1. Pay all my debts, funeral expenses, and expenses of my last sickness.
2. I give to my friend JOHN W. ROSS of Terre Haute, IN, in consideration for his care and support during my long and continued sickness, all my estate, both real and personal. The real estate consists of 160 acres in Owen County, IN, and In Dana, Vermillion County, IN one cottage house with 5 rooms.
3. Any part of a mortgage deeded to HARRISON JONES of Owen County, IN shall be paid off.
4. I appoint JOHN W. ROSS Executor, with the legal assistance of J.L. DUNCAN, Attorney of Spencer County, IN.
