Jackie Wilson 88 years of age passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at home in Henrietta, Texas.
Jackie was born October 26, 1934 in Harrold, Texas to the late Rollin and Fayne Wilson.
On July 10, 1953 he married his high school sweetheart, Joyce "Doreen" Wilson and together they had 3 children. He retired from the Iowa Park School District after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of Grace Church in Iowa Park, Texas and enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
Jackie was preceded in death by his loving wife Doreen Wilson, daughter Diane Wilson Able and son Jackie Darwayne Wilson.
He is survived by his son Robbie and daughter-in-law Charlene; grandchildren, Trishia and husband Joey, Lisa, Stefanie and husband Kevin, Taren; Terry, Cody, Kyle and wife Sabrina, Hayven and fiancé Noah, and several great and great-great grandchildren who Jackie adored and loved very much.
A celebration of life will be held at Grace Church in Iowa Park, Texas on July 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Angels Care Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas or the Henrietta VFD in Henrietta, Texas.
The family would like to thank the staff of Angels Care Hospice along with Dr. J. Reddy and Staff for the loving care they showed Jackie.
