MRS. L. J. POPE RITES.

Funeral services for Mrs. L. J. Pope, 67, of Blanchard, were held Friday at 10 a.m. at Rose-Neath funeral home, conducted by Rev. W. H. Griswold, pastor of Central Christian Church. Interment was in Blanchard cemetery. Mrs. Pope died Thursday at a local hospital.
Pallbearers were Roy Anderson, J. R. Belcher, Ed. Brockhouse, Alphonse Attaway, H. O. DeMoss, Lonnie White, Roy Shelton and Luther Barrett.
Mrs. Pope is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Luther Barrett, Blanchard; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Bagley, Mrs. Zack Ford and Mrs. Katie White, and a brother George Bryan, all of Shreveport.
