A German church record indicates that Jacob Brodrecht and Anna Sibilla Rüffer were married on June 15, 1845, in Grebenau, a town in Germany's Hessen region. The couple's known children were:

Gravesite Details

The stone is set in the east exterior wall of a pavilion, among other monuments that were originally erected in two local cemeteries that no longer exist. Remains exhumed from these graveyards were reburied in a common grave in Riverside Cemetery.
