Levi was born either in Lebanon Co or Schuykill County. He was the son of David Capp/Kapp and Christina Clemens/Clementz. Levi married Elenor "Ellen" Findley Nov 19, 1860. In the 1860s & 1870s Levi and his family lived in Martinburg West Virginia. In 1880 he and his family were back in Pennsylvania, living in Mechanicsburg, while their son David went to school there. Levi and his wife Ellen are buried together in Concord.
