Wick, Sylvester M. "Jerry" Age 91 years. Formerly of Menomonee Falls, WI. passed away peacefully in the Black River Falls Memorial Hospital under the care of hospice on Thursday, February 1, 2007. Jerry was born on December 30, 1915 in Fussville, WI. He was raised on the family farm. He married Emily Cherney on May 5, 1939. They lived together in Menomonee Falls for 64 years until Emily's passing in June of 2003. Jerry is survived by two sons, Richard (Dee) and Glen (friend Susan), five grandchildren, Allan (Lisa), Jerry (Kendall), JoDee, Stacy (Scott), and Rachel, seven great-grandchildren, Ross, Mattson, Joanna, Dylan, Lucas, Alyssa, and Tyler. Also survived by his sister Katherine (the late Raymond) Giencke and sister-in-law, Arlene (the late Paul) Wick. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 5 brothers, Frederick, Raymond, Norbert, Edwin, and Paul and 2 sisters, Hilda Kanter, and Mamie Holzem. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday February 7th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls (please meet at church). Burial St. Anthony's Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday at the funeral home 4-7 PM. Prayer vigil service 7PM. Jerry was employed at Stolpher Steel, A.O. Smith and American Motors in Milwaukee. He retired in 1978. Jerry loved bowling, golf, deer hunting, fishing, and playing sheepshead. He was also an avid Brewer and Packer fan. Special thanks to Aurora Hospice in Jackson, WI. for all of the care given to our father. Any memorials to Aurora Hospice would be appreciated.
