Jacqueline was born on June 8, 1945 in Salisbury, MO, the daughter of William and Mildred (Widmer) Sturm. She was a 1963 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Salisbury, MO. Jacqueline later received her Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance and Accounting from St. Louis University. She lived in St. Louis for 30 years before returning to Salisbury. Jacqueline was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church where she served on the finance committee for 20 years and the Altar Sodality. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
She is survived by five siblings, Bob Sturm and wife Emogene of Salisbury, MO, David Sturm of Salisbury, MO, Paul Sturm of Chillicothe, MO, Andrea Sturm of Charlotte, NC, Mary Ellen Daly of Lexington, MO; 12 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and great nephews, 1 great-great nephew, and one great-great niece.
Jacqueline was preceded by her parents, brother Terry Sturm, brother-in-law David Daly and sister-in-law Jan Sturm.
A Mass of Christian Burial was June 1, 2023, at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO. Interment followed in the Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Salisbury. Rosary service was at 9 am until the time of mass.
Memorials are suggested to the Saint Joseph School Foundation, Saint Joseph Church Building Restoration, or the Alzheimer's Association.
