Obituary in Idaho Falls Idaho Post Register newspaper dated June 26, 1983 reads:
LLOYD SIBBETT
Lloyd Sibbett, 71, long time Idaho Falls resident, died at a local hospital June 23, 1983.
He was born Jan. 13, 1912 at Gray's Lake to James and Genevieve Hocking Sibbett Jr. He attended school in Gray's Lake and enjoyed working at ranches and trapping. He was also a champion spud picker.
In 1947, they sold their ranch in Gray's Lake and moved to Idaho Falls. For the past 10 years, he has been employed at the Westbank coffee shop. He was married to Alice Hurst in 1953 at Gray's Lake. Survivors are his wife, Idaho Falls, five brothers, Douglas, Idaho Falls; Glen, Thayne, Wyoming; Wilbur (Bill), Walla Walla; Russell and Glade Sibbett, Gray's Lake. Funeral services will be Monday, 11 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home with Bishop Odell Stoor of the Gray's Lake Ward officiating.
Family will meet friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7:30-9 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to funeral services.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs. Graveside services will be conducted there Monday between 3-4 p.m. under the direction of Williams Funeral Home.
