Mrs. S. W. Frizzell, 89, former resident of the Pine Grove community near Athens and the widow of S. W. Frizzell, an early day banker at Frankston, died Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock at the home of her son, Lloyd Frizzell, in Nacogdoches.
Following the services in Nacogdoches Friday morning the body was brought overland to the Davis Cemetery, near Athens where rites were held at 2:00 o'clock.
Deceased is survived by a son in Nacogdoches, and the daughter at Washington D. C. Seven grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Frizzell was a native of Illinois.
C. D. Frizzell of Athens is a nephew of the deceased.
