She was the seventh of ten children of Jesse M Brumfield and Ida Smith Brumfield, and the last surviving sibling in her family. She was married to Ivy Edmond Seal in 1945 until his death in 1990. Together they had three children. She married Clifford Muse Watson in 1993. She was a member of Lanier Baptist Church, taught children's Sunday school and served as Mothers' Day Out Director. In later years, she was a member of Istrouma Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; sisters, Jessie Lee Andrews, Edie Marie Toney, Laura Alford, and Marcelle Crowe; and brothers, Albert, Victor, Glindon, Wilkie, and an infant brother. Surviving are her daughters, Jeanie LeBlanc (Bill) and Brenda Russell (Tommy); son, Edmond Seal; grandchildren, Lee Russell (Monica), Cynthia Russell Segal (Jonathan), Elizabeth Hess (Darren), Kelly Bordelon (Ron), Bo LeBlanc, and Hunter LeBlanc; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Chloe and Ivy Russell, Harris and Beckett Segal, Hamlin, Archie, Beau Henry and Adaire Hess, and Beckham and Berkley Bordelon.
