The Baxter Bulletin, February 2, 1906 Issue

Bob Hudson received a telegram last Friday from his son in Texas. The boy was dying, the message stated, and Mr. Hudson left immediately for that place. Later advices state that Claude died Saturday.

Claude Hudson's remains were shipped to this place, hence to Lone Rock. A number of people from Cotter and other places in the community were here and met the train. Owing to mis connection on the other line the funeral did not take place until Thursday, February 1. Parson. Segal. Jan. 31

The Baxter Bulletin. Lone Rock Items

Claude Hudson, who was taken to the western part of Texas last May for his health, died at that place January 28. His father went after him and brought him to the "Burnt School House" cemetery for burial. Claude was raised here and he leaves a host of friends and relatives to mourn his loss. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood. A Reader., Lone Rock, Feb. 5.
