Annie Mae Wallace was married to Jesse Jerome Lilly on June 9, 1931, in Edinburg, Hidalgo, Texas.

Mrs. Annie Mae Lilly, 72, died in Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas on May 4, 1983. She was born in Bokchito, Oklahoma on February 9, 1911, and had been a resident of Harlingen, Texas since 1946. She was a retired school teacher. Mrs. Lilly was a member of the North Seventh Street Church of Christ; taught school in Rio Hondo and San Benito; and was a member of the American Association of University Women and the Business and Professional Women's Club. She received a Bachelor's degree from Pan American University and Master's degree from Texas A&I University.

Survivors include two sons, Wallace Jesse Lilly of Houston, and Kenneth Lawrence Lilly of Sonora; three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Joyce Davidson of Odessa, Mrs. Anne Kathryn Eacono of Austin, and Mrs. Bernice Gai! Hill of Round Rock; one brother, Henry 0. Wallace of Victoria; one sister, Mrs. Eddie
Letha Hughes of Mission; and 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Orge Wallace, Sr. and Lena Morgan Wallace; her husband Jesse Jerome Lilly; her sisters, Lelia Carmen Hunt and Mary Loyce Kapeller.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mark Lilly, Eric Lilly, David Lilly, Michael Lilly, Brian Lilly, Phillip Hill, Lawrence Hill, Farron Davidson, Jay Davidson and Joseph Eacono.
