She was a wonderful & loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-great grandmother, homemaker & business woman.
She was the administrator of Denby Park Day Care Center in Norfolk for many years. She loved the Women's Fellowship Circle holding several positions over the years including the Sunday School secretary. Her greatest love came from serving the Lord through church music where she was the church pianist and organist for Hyde Park Free Will Baptist Church and Great Bridge Free Will Baptist Church over 60 years. She also sang with her husband & the church choir over the years. She was a member of Gateway Church where she attended faithfully and truly enjoyed the Senior Group who befriended her after the passing of her husband.
Ms. Pike was preceded in death by her loving husband of 73 years, Randall Pike, precious first-born son, Glen, & dear Son-in-law Roger Haller.
Left to cherish her memory is daughter in law, Jill Pike of South Mills, NC, two daughters, Judy Haller, of Jacksonville, FL, & Carolyn Lauer (Chuck) of Amissville, VA and youngest Son Randy Pike of South Norfolk, VA. One dear sister, Lee Todd of VA Beach, VA. She is also survived by 8 special grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren & several nieces and nephews.
She also leaves behind many caring & wonderful neighbors who were so very good to her over the years, and the Hardees Breakfast Club who became a life line when she became a widow She truly appreciated you all!
Interment to take place at Rosewood Memorial Park.
