SPRING GROVE - Donald P. Geisler, 53, of 95 W. Highland Ave., a member of the Spring Grove Area School District board of education, who was stricken Monday morning while at work in York, died Thursday at 7 a.m. at York Hospital where he was a patient since his seizure. Husband of Mrs. Suzanne Hershey Geisler, he had a heart attack at the York Division of Borg-Warner Corp., where he was an electrician foreman. He was with the company 23 years. A son of Charles and Sarah Miller Geisler, Spring Grove RD 1, he was an Army veteran of World War II and belonged to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. His memberships included the Yankee Athletic Association, York, and Friendship Hose Co. Also surviving are: A son, Dale H. Geisler, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter, Linda Marie Geisler, at home; a brother, Richard E. Geisler, Spring Grove RD 1, and four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Conley, 1761 North View Road, York; Mrs. John Fishel, Thomasville RD 1; Mrs. Henry Becker, Spring Grove RD 1, and Mrs. Harold Smith, York RD 6. The funeral will be on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., with burial in Spring Grove Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Joseph W. Seitz, his pastor, to be assisted by Robert D. Caldwell, intern pastor at St. Paul's and the Rev. Robert S. Kelly, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
