Ronald G. Snyder of Waupaca, age 82, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023.

He was born in Waupaca on May 5, 1940 to Edwin and Vida (Peterson) Snyder. He attended the Townsend School, a one room school house, and then Scandinavia High School. After his schooling he served two years in the US Army. Upon returning home he met his future wife, Marion Kerr, and they were married on July 7, 1962. Making their home in rural Waupaca, he worked for more than 30 years and retired from the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.

He was a member of the Waupaca Historical Society, the Forest County Historical Society and Crystal Lake Methodist Church. He served on several committees for the church. Ron was a great sportsman, loving his fishing and hunting both here and on his many trips to Canada and out west.

He is survived by his wife: Marion; brothers: Sanford Snyder and Eugene (Mary) Snyder; sisters: Doris Ewald, Donna Reierson and Shirley (Sven) Carlson. He is further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
