Jack Feaster, formerly of South Bend, IN, unexpectedly went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in his Fort Wayne, IN home on May 26, 2023 at the age of 92. He was the son of the late Mildred and Herman Feaster.

Jack graduated from Jefferson High School in Lafayette, IN and then from Purdue University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Jack was particularly proud to serve his country in the Navy on the USS Worcester. He was treated to an Honor Flight in 2019.

He married his bride and love of his life, Nancy Reichard, on October 25, 1959. Jack worked at Bendix in Mishawaka for almost 20 years and retired from Trinetics, Inc in Mishawaka in 1996.

Anyone who met Jack knew of his passion for all things Purdue. He and his wife traveled from South Bend to West Lafayette to attend Purdue football games as season ticket holders for over 50 years and was a member of John Purdue Club. Jack also loved to watch and play golf. He golfed daily into his 90's and even got a hole in one at the Elbel Golf Course. He was also a lifetime fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.

While living in South Bend, Jack was a devoted member of Grace United Methodist Church, serving as an usher there for decades. At his death, Jack was a member of St Joseph United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne.

Jack was a loving and adored husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and loyal friend. Jack is survived by his wife of 63 years; two daughters; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Shirley Conkright.

Memorial services for Jack will be at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Upon the death of his bride, Jack and Nancy will be buried at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend, IN.
