Audrey Lou Whitaker
TURKEY — Services for Audrey Lou Whitaker, 82, of Farwell will be at 2 p.m. today at Turkey Church of Christ with Stewart Smith and Earl McDonough officiating.
Burial will be in Turkey Cemetery under the direction of Myers-Long Funeral Directors of Turkey.
She died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002.
She was born Feb. 20, 1920, in Birmingham, Ala., where she attended school. She married Ray Whitaker on July 23, 1972, in Greenville, S.C. She was a homemaker and children's day-care provider. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a 13-year resident of Turkey.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include three daughters, Judy Schumacher of Mesa, Ariz., and Beverly Hardesty and Debbie Rosser, both of Farwell; a son, Phillip Giles Rosser of Farwell; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
