Frances A. Martinez – Age 81 of Abiquiu passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gusman Martinez and son, Gus Martinez. She is survived by her children: Dolores Padilla of Albuquerque, Robert G. Martinez and wife Norma Jo of Sapello, Daniel Martinez and wife Kathleen of Abiquiu, Susan Sandoval, Anna Martinez and husband Jimmy and Joaquin Martinez and companion Sarah all of Albuquerque; grandchildren: Robert Gus Martinez, Jr., Kris Lovelace, Brian Sandoval and Sophie Sandoval; great grandchildren: Elijah and Alexis Martinez; brothers and sisters: Delfine Salazar and wife Flora, Eva Toler, Bonifacio Salazar all of CA, Alice Trujillo of Las Vegas, Alba Duran and husband Rudy of CA, Max Salazar and wife Dolores of CO and Robert Salazar of TX and many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu, with interment to follow at Abiquiu Cemetery. The Rivera Family of Block-Salazar Mortuary.
