. JONESPORT - Mrs Lois Mansfield Rice, 56, died at her home in Thompsonville, Conn., Tuesday after a long illness.
. She was born at Jonesport, February 4, 1906, daughter of Harvey and Edna Mansfield.
. Besides her mother, Mrs. Rice is survived by her husband, William Rice; two daughters, Nadya and Nancy Rice, both of Thompsonville, Conn.; one son, Eugene Rice of Old Town; two brothers, George Mansfield of Portland and Irving Mansfield of Washington, D. C.; two sisters, Mrs. Alwynne Patterson and Mrs. Beryl Dubay, both of Cape Elizabeth; one grandson; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
. Committal services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery, Jonesport, with the Rev. Paul Malicote officiating.
. Funeral service will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at Doolittle Funeral Home in Middletown.
