Lenord Stokey Adderhold Sr., 79, of Centre, passed away Monday, April 2, at his residence. He was a native of Cherokee County, a retired diesel mechanic with American Freight Co., a veteran and a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.

Services were Thursday. April %, at 2 p.m., in the Smith-Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Mike Boatfield and Tammy Jackson officiating. Burial was in Cherokee Memory Gardens with Smith-Perry Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Adderhold is survived by his wife, Kathleen Boatfield Adderhold; a son, Lenord Stokey (Paighe) Adderhold Jr. of Hiram. Ga., two daughters, Vickie Lenore (Daniel) Brackett of Dallas, Ga., and Della Delene Lee of Acworth, Ga.; a brother, Robert (Sharon) Adderhold of Leesburg; four sisters, Rudy Goodwin of Lithia Springs, Ga., Judy Grace of Centre, Amy Medlock of Cleveland, Ga.; and Kathryn Acre of Duluth, Ga., five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late John Franklin and Della Inez Anderson Adderhold.
