Lois B. Pollock, 81, of Bainbridge, went to be with the Lord, 10:01 a.m., Dec. 30, 2001 at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1920 in Shelby County, Ohio, the daughter of Chester and Abigail Taylor Dowden. She was the widow of James E. Pollock, who died May 20, 1973.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James L. and Clara Pollock; a daughter Wanda Hutchinson, all of Bainbridge; two grandchildren, Melinda Hutchinson and Margie Pollock; a brother, Leroy Dowden of West Liberty, Ohio; a sister, Eunice Reiher of Mason, Mich.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was a member of the Camelin Hill Church.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Smith-Moore Funeral Home in Bainbridge, with Troy Villars officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Paxton or Twin township life squads.
