Ruby (Evans) Cook, 94 of Rossmore, WV departed from this life on Thursday, May 25th, 2023, at her residence. She was born on July 25th, 1928 in Harts, WV and was the daughter of the late William and Cora (Ellis) Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Jinx Adkins and Carl Cook; four children, Juanita Lambert, William Adkins, Ruth Ann Richards, and Jinx Adkins, Jr.; five brothers, Everette Evans, Earnest Evans, Hubert Evans, Ray Evans, and Roy Evans; two sisters, Ruth Walsh and Margaret White; and two grandchildren, Jinx Adkins and Jason Richards.
She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She adored her dogs and cats. The family would like to give a special thanks to Luther and Debbie Shell; her life long neighbor.
