Born June 17, 1892 in Winlock, Washington to John Francis and Rose Belle Day Fowler. Married Ingenuus Bentzar, Chicago, Illinois. He died May 24, 1958.
She was accompanist for her husband in his internationally known career as Opera coach and vocal teacher. After his death, she continued his work in both voice and piano. Patron of the Utah Opera. Accompanist, Yale Ward Relief Society.
Survivors: sister, Frances Alton, Portland, Oregon; nieces, Carol Olson, South Pasadena, Calif.; Rosemarie Mackay, Seattle, Washington; three great-nieces, seven great-nephews, one great-great niece.
Funeral services will be held May 17, 1983, at 2:00 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple. Friends may call at the Mortuary, one hour prior to service. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Family requests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Primary Children's Hospital.
