OBITUARY.

Samuel R. Erickson was born in Adams Co., Indiana, August 12, 1840, and died at his home in Oak, Feb. 23, 1906, aged 64 years, 6 months, 11 days. He was married to Martha J. Stopher, January 8,1860.

He was converted and became a member of the Evangelical church in 1887, but several years ago transferred his membership to the United Brethren church (sic) of which he was a faithful and consistent member until the time of death.

Two sons, two daughters and a host of friends are left to mourn his death.

The funeral was held at the U. B. church (sic) Saturday, conducted by Rev. White, and the remain laid to rest in the Oak cemetery.
