A native of Greenville County, SC; daughter of Joshua Dodson Ballenger (1857-1925) and Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Tillotson Ballenger (1866-1899); wife of the late Kline Edison Harris (1894–1955) and the late James L. Sprouse.
Attended Furman University and was of the Jehovah's Witness Faith.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Ballenger Harris (1925–2012) and Joseph Andrew "Joe" Harris (1929-2010); and six grandchildren.
A private service was held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, in Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by Elder David Allison.
