Matterson- Funeral Services for James Matterson, 67, who died at his home in Soddy Friday morning, will be held from the Soddy Baptist church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Houston and the Rev. Franklin officating. Internment in the Gray Cemetery at Bakewell. Coulter's in charge.

Matterson - James, 67, died at his residence at Soddy Friday morning. Surviving are four sons, George, Andy, Fred and Otis Matterson; two daughters, Mrs.Laura Manerson and Mrs. Nora Sexton; twenty seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Davis and Mrs. Hester Redson (Reddon). Funeral services will be held at the Soddy Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Mr. Houston and the Rev. Mr. Franklin officiating. Interment will be in the Grays Cemetery, Bakewell. Coulter's in charge.
