Paul Edward Henshaw, age 86 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He was born on December 13, 1936, in Estill Fork, Alabama to the late George Washington and Lera Virginia (Sisk) Henshaw. Paul served his country in the United States Army. He was then employed by Jim Franklin Chevrolet and Wriker Pontiac GMC before becoming the co-owner of Winchester Motors. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed playing basketball, and cheering for the Huntland Hornets basketball teams, Alabama Crimson Tide, the Atlanta Braves, and NASCAR driver Chase Elliott, but especially for his grandchildren playing baseball. Paul was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church and had sung with the Rocky River Quartet. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Locke Henshaw; siblings, L.G. Henshaw, James "Jack" Henshaw, Annie Dee Sims, and Dorothy Henshaw. Paul is survived by his loving son, Keith (Lisa) Henshaw; grandchildren, Kyle (Paige) Henshaw, Trey Henshaw, Justin Brown, Jody Brown, and Amber Solomon; great-grandchildren, Reagan Henshaw and Rhys Henshaw; sister, Carolyn Potter; special caregiver, Mike Henley; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Visitation will be from 1-2pm on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Roy B. Watson Chapel with Bro. Johnny Mayes and Bro.
