Bobbie graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1978 and from Muncie School of Practical Nursing in 1985 to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was an L.P.N. at Hickory Creek in Gaston for several years and in retirement worked for the Jay County School Corporation in the cafeteria. Bobbie had a great love for family and enjoyed attending any event that her grandchildren participated in – particularly softball and baseball. She enjoyed helping others and was a member of Order of The Eastern Star in Muncie.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Brian Bertram; their daughter, Landra Fraley (husband: Doug, Jr.) of Redkey; parents, James "Barnie" and Mary E. (Burnett) Stephens of Dunkirk; sister, Stephanie Dargo (husband: Joe) of Yorktown; grandchildren, Madyson Fraley of Redkey and Camden Fraley of Redkey; best friend, Debbie Brant of Dunkirk. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Stephens and Barnie Stephens; and her first husband, Lester Paul Dunkin.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023 at Meacham Funeral Service with burial following at Union Cemetery, Eaton.
Visiting hours are Friday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
