Dagny Evenrud of 119 N Mill in Decorah died Tuesday, Nov 8 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness. She was 80 years of age.
Funeral services for Ms. Evenrud were held Friday, Nov 11 at 1:30pm at Glenwood Lutheran Church with burial in the Glenwood cemetery. Pallbearers were Lloyd Berg, Walter Teslow, Hubert Bolson, Hayward Evenrud, Vernon Olson, & Walter Langland. Laurie Baker was organist & James Hanson was soloist. Arrangements were made by Sensor-French Funeral Home.
Dagny (Lovstuen) Evenrud was born Oct 1, 1903 in Glenwood Township to Hans & Marie (Selsvold) Lovstuen. She attended rural schools & VAlders's Normal School.
She married Nels Evenrud at Glenwood Lutheran Church in 1928. Her husband died in 1931.
Mrs. Evenrud is survived by a son Donald of Clear Lake, IA; 5 granchildren; 1 great-grandhild; & 2 sisters. Rebecca Bolson & Nora Berg, both of Decorah.
Mrs. Evenrud belonged to the Glenwood LUtheran Church & the ALCW.

Nels & Dagny had 1 child together Donald Ferdinand (1929-).
