Wednesday, July 15, 1931

"The funeral of Ferdinard Evenrud was held at the home of Mrs. Evenrud's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Lovstruen, in this city Saturday, and burial was made in the Glenwood cemetery after a church service there. Rev. Bredesen officiated.

The deceased was born in Glenwood township September 8, 1928, and spent most of his life there. Several years ago he moved to Decorah. On July 19, 1928, he united in marriage with Miss Dagny Lovstuen. Soon thereafter his health failed and he and his wife moved back to the farm. He spent a year in Sunny Crest Sanatorium at Pine City, Minn. Some months ago he went to a sanatorium in Dubuque, where he died.

He is survived by his wife, a son two years old, three brothers, Roy, Alexander, and Arthur, and one sister Millie Evenrud. His parents are dead. To the bereaved relatives the sympathy of a large circle of friends goes out."
