Mrs. Caroline Meengs, 95, oldest resident of Cedar Grove, passed away Tuesday afternoon. Nee Miss Caroline Grace Stronks, she was born at Cedar Grove Dec. 6, 1860. Her marriage to Henry Meengs took place at Cedar Grove May 13, 1883, and they resided there continually since. Her husband passed away May 9, 1932.

Survivors are a son, Ferdinand, Cedar Grove; three daughters, Mrs. Grace Binnes, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Chris. (Edna) Voskuil, and Mrs. Jacob (Esther) Wykhuis, both of Oostburg; 12 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Reformed Church, Cedar Grove, of which she was a member. The Rev. Ray Olthof, pastor, will be in

Charge and interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Te Ronde Funeral Home, Cedar Grove, from 7 p.m. Thursday until 11 a.m. Friday, then at the church until the time of the services.
