Longtime Crane resident, Esperanza "Hope" Hall, passed away on Saturday, April 22nd, 2023. Hope was born on October 8, 1945 in Ft Stockton, Texas. Hope lived in Kermit through her childhood and got to Crane as fast as she could to raised her children. She soon met and married the love of her life, Don Hall in 1970. Together, they raised their children. Hope was a cook at Grace's Cafe in Crane for several years and a homemaker.

Hope loved kids, reading, gardening, soap operas, and cooking great Mexican food for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Hope was preceded in death by her husband, Don Hall, parents Mariano and Paz Fierro of Kermit, One brother, Phillip Fierro, Joe Fierro and Mariano "Junior" Fierro, all of Kermit, Two sons Tommy Puga of Odessa and David Puga of Crane, a grandson Justin Puga of Midland and a granddaughter Hanah Puga of Oklahoma.

Hope is survived by her 2 sons Hestan Hall of Crane and Anthony Puga and wife Kym of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Two daughters, JoAnn Mead of Lubbock, and Sylvia Puga of Wichita Falls, 2 sisters Alice Crabtree and Emma Roberson, both of Kermit, twelve grandchildren; Thomas Puga, Jordan Puga, Ryan Mead, Leslie Mead, Braxton Puga, Kris Puga, Maegan Puga, Morgan Puga, Peyton Puga, Casey Perez, Kristina Bustos, and seventeen great-grand children.

A private memorial service honoring Hope will be held at a later date.
