Ervin, Jr. was 79 years old when he passed away on Sunday. He was a life long area resident of Pompano Beach and is survived by 2 daughters, Karen (Jim) Park, and Darlene (Robert) Swan; a brother, John Robertson; 2 sisters, Dottie Cochran and Jeanette; and 3 grandchilren, Daniel, Merry, and Christopher Swan. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Merrywynn who died just this past February 27th, a brother James Robertson, a sister, Harriett Robertson and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Robertson, Sr.. Family and friends may call from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Kraeer Funeral Home on Federal Hwy., Pompano Beach where there will be a Masonic Service held at 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, the 20th, in Christ Church, 210 N. E. 3rd Street, Pompano Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in George Ervin's memory to the Methodist Children's Home, in care of the church. Burial will follow.
