William Edward Crittell of Fredericksburg passed away on Monday May 1, 2023 at the age of 90. He was born in San Antonio to Joseph and Catherine Staudt Crittell. He served his country in the Airforce as a Radio Operator.

Mr. Crittell is survived by his children William Crittell, Catherine Kuhlmann, Christopher Crittell, all of Fredericksburg; brother Joseph Crittell of San Antonio, sister Mary Elizabeth Key, sisters-in-law Mary Crittell of San Antonio and Gloria Harold of Vermont ; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Parents Joseph and Catherine Crittell, son Carl Crittell, son-in–law Stacy Kuhlmann, brothers, Jerry Crittell, John Crittell, Benjamin Crittell, Margie Crittell and Carl Crittell.

Visitation will be Sunday May 7, 2023 from 4:00p.m.- 6:00p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Mass of resurrection will be on Monday May 8, 2023 at 12:00p.m. in St Mary's Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be D.J. Herbort, William Crittell III, Keenan Crittell, David Crittell, Christopher Crittell, Jeffrey Crittell, William Crittell II, and Steven Crittell.

Memorial contributions may be made to Paige Kuhlmann College Fund, Fredericksburg VFD, or the charity of one's choice.
