Carl Leslie Crittell, 30, of San Antonio, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Deacon Francisco DeLa Torre officiating. Mary Ann Murchison was the organist and Donna Durst, the vocalist.
Interment followed in St. Mary's Cemetery.
A vigil service was held Sunday evening, April 29, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home with Pat Klein officiating.
Crittell was born March 9, 1977, in San Antonio, the son of William E. Crittell Sr. and Leslie Gamble Crittell.
He was an organ and tissue donor, and is survived by his father, William E. Crittell Sr. of Fredericksburg; his mother and step-father, Leslie and Richard Martinez Sr., of San Antonio; his grandfather, Robert Piscetello of Litchfield, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Cynde Crittell of San Antonio; a sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Stacy Kuhlmann of Fredericksburg; a twin brother, Christopher Crittell of San Antonio; a step-sister, Kelly Martinez of San Antonio, and a step-brother, Richard Martinez Jr., and his wife, Anna, of San Antonio.
Memorials may be made to Any Baby Can, Fredericksburg EMS, Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Department, St. Mary's Catholic Church or to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers included Christopher Crittell, William Crittell, David Crittell, Adolph Segura Jr., Carl Crittell, William Meier and Stacy Kuhlmann.
