Alma was born July 12, 1931 in Golconda, IL to Roy and Gertrude (Smock) Jones, Sr. She married Jerry S. Rumsey on October 3, 1947 and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1995. She attended Antioch Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
At her request cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
