Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery of McCook.

Lois Anne Lepper, formerly of McCook, passed away at the Wauneta Care and Therapy Center in Wauneta, Nebraska on April 27, 2023. She was born November 11, 1934, to Enoch and Emma (Hinz) Roedel, at home on the family farm southeast of McCook, near Ash Creek. She attended St. John's Parochial School and District 47 grade school in Red Willow County. Lois later graduated from McCook High School in 1952.
On June 25, 1954, Lois was united in marriage to William O. Lepper at St. John's Lutheran Church at Ash Creek. William preceded her in death on December 18, 1997. She enjoyed gardening and baking. Lois was a self-taught painter and enjoyed painting watercolor scenes. She loved her years at J. M. McDonald and J.C. Penney, Lois retired from Penney's in 2004. She and William loved to spend time at the area lakes camping. Lois was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church. She taught Bible School, Sunday school and sang in the church choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Enoch and Emma; husband, Bill, and siblings, Dean Roedel, Richard Roedel, and Mary VanderMolen.
Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery of McCook.
