She is a sister to Edmund Columbus, Sarah M, Milas, Savannah, Martha and Lora.

Her brother, Edmund Columbus Allen, married Martha Jane Melton. Martha Jane Melton is the daughter of James G Melton and Ann Foster. Ann Foster Melton is well-known from her involvement in the Murder of Laura Foster and the legend of Tom Dooley (Dula).

Mary Frances was hospitalized 4 mo 29 days and died of septicemia, infection and ulceration of hip.

Her niece, Siddie Allen South, would also be in care at the hospital and died here in 1939.
