Her husband, Rocco, died in December 1939. -- Born in Italy, daughter of the late Augustine and Grace Naso DePaolo, she resided here 56 years. Mrs. Grippo was a member of St. Lucy's Church. -- Surviving are three sons, Guy and Anthony, this city, Thomas, Dunmore; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Bernardi and Mrs. Ann Malone, this city; a sister, Mrs. Gaetana Garzella, Dunmore; a brother, Joseph DePaolo, Toronto, Can.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, August, died in June 1968. -- The funeral will be Tuesday from the Guido Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Ave., with mass at 9:30 in St. Lucy's Church. Butial, Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4, 7 to 10 p.m."
