Bob enjoyed the simplicity that life offered; loving his family, feeding the squirrels and watching for hummingbirds with his dog, Max, by his side.
Surviving him are his daughters, Dinah Grigsby (Joel), of Dale, and Karen Howell (Greg), Kim Leistner and Amy Reed (Ray), all of Tell City; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
His parents, a daughter, in infancy, Cheryl, his wife, Mary Lou (Cash) Anson and a son-in-law, Terry Leistner preceded him in death along with several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 with burial in Troy Cemetery. Pastor Ann Skiba will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 until service time on Tuesday.
