Ruth was born October 28, 1921 in Millstone, daughter of the late Burl and Phoebe (Sandage) Anson. Also preceding her in death was her husband Carmie Badger, son, Donald Badger, brother, E.D. Anson, sisters, Evaline Litherland, Augustine Perry, Myrtle Ahl, Nancy Walls, Esther Holpp and Dolly Wilson.

A member of Tell City Church of Christ, she enjoyed reading, playing cards and bingo and spending time with family and friends. Ruth had worked at the Green Thumb project through Lincoln Hills Development Corp.
