Mrs. Massie, a resident of Okeechobee for 30 years, died Friday at Hospice House in Fort Pierce.
She was born in Chillicothe, Ill., and moved to Florida from that state. She was a homemaker and worked with the Raulerson Hospital Auxiliary in Okeechobee .
She is survived by two daughters, Hazel LaLonde and Toni Crews, both of Okeechobee ; three sons, including Jack, of Okeechobee , and Jerry, of Royal Palm Beach; a brother; a sister; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. today at the Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home; graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Evergreen Cemetery , Okeechobee .
