Elton B. Young, 64, a Loraine farmer died Monday at his home in Loraine after an apparent heart attack.
Services were at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church with the Reverend Jimmy Roberts, pastor, and the Reverend Clarence Minton of Snyder officiating. Burial followed in the Loraine Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Born December 15, 1910 in East Texas he moved to Loraine in 1932. He married Frances Cheek December 7, 1940 in Colorado City.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Larry of El Paso; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Holcomb and Mrs. Rosa Snyder, both of Sweetwater and Mrs. Willie Cochran of San Angelo; one brother, Roy of Goldsmith.
