Otis Leathers, 87, formerly of Johnsonville died in Fairbury. He was born Feb. 20, 1872 in Johnsonville the son of John W. and Nancy Hale Leathers. On Jan. 20, 1897 he married Louella Weaver. They had eight children. His wife died Oct. 19, 1958. Two grandchildren have also died. He leaves three daughters, Lois, Millie and Luella, and five sons, Cloyd of Yuma, Ariz., James of Fairbury, John of Odell, Virgil of Sibley and Robert of Geff and one brother, Wesley, of Pontiac.

Otis Leathers, 87, Fairbury, died in the hospital there after a brief illness. Survivors are three daughters, five sons, 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and a brother, Wesley G., Pontiac.
