Regina Tingler Bryan, age 76, of 105 Karnes Road, Covington, Virginia died Friday, April 14, 2023 at her residence.

She was born June 6, 1946 in Alleghany County to the late Pauline W. Tingler.

She was a retired office manager for Alleghany Regional Hospital.

Regina was a member and baptized at First Christian Church, Covington where she also sang in the choir. She loved flowers, crafts, working on her family tree, spending time with her family, and traveling.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Floyd and Rosa T. Huffman.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Bryan; a daughter, Beth Crush both of Covington; a sister, Diane Tingler Rapp of Waynesboro; two nieces, Valerie Lynn McClearen and husband, Matt of Madison County and Courtney Rapp of Waynesboro; three great nephews and one great niece; her close friend, Barbara Vest; and her cats, Tessa and Taz.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Gene Ayers officiating. Internment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Pallbearers will be Tommy Tingler, Paul Switzer, Mike Pyle, Danny Rowsey, Jeff Morris, Ralph "Tiny" Kimberlin and Lee Bryan.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
