Wife Frances passed away in 1856, and Arthur married again, this time to Elizabeth M. Scott, 13 August 1857 in Pike county, Missouri. They had six children - Arthur, Archibald, Joseph, Maga Belle, Charles and Byron.
Arthur and Elizabeth owned several parcels of land that he bought from the Bureau of Land Management Office in Spokane, Washington.
